In terms of audio files and cutscenes barely any space will be taken up and the models and textures look fairly low res, the math which generates everything won't take up much space either so compared to most games this gen it will have a very small install size.Since no one has mentioned it, most of what you're seeing is procedurally generated, including the textures. There are base textures that are used by the algorithm and procedurally changed when generating the planet surface, the flora, the fauna, etc. The download file is only 2.6 gb. It's compressed. Save size. Game is about 10GB installed. Save games are not big enough to worry about. You will need some space for the page file of windows to work too The game for me was near 8GB, not too sure about the save files though. after over 100 hours it is like 13 mb.
