The 1090 and 1290 just somehow feels a tad to high which is why I'm looking at a lower seat high. Don't know why KTM can't make the seat adjustable like the Africa Twin. Hopefully the 790 ADV will have this feature.
So one option to go lower still would be to sell the 1190 R (89 cm seat height) and get the 1190 S instead (86 cm seat height or 87.5 in the upper position). You could then use the KTM Rally Seat instead of the standard seats and get a seat height of 83 cm, or get the Touratech one-piece seat and get a seat height of 82 cm.

+1, Ergo seats make a very noticeable difference, or at least for the rider, can't see the same won't be the case for the passenger, me and the Mrs both hated the OE seats, we have had a 1190 / 1290 / 1090 and me and the Mrs both found all of the OE seats crap - must be a KTM thing as the seats on all bikes were different yet equally shite!

- Looking at the hard parts "KTM Ergo Rider's Seat Tall (Black) 1290 SuperAdventure 21-22" but it only adds +14mm height. How is this seat comfort wise? Much better than stock?
