Scope has been a gem for astrophotography. Excellent match with a DSLR on my iOptron SkyGuider. Only issue is the required AT60FF field flattner for full frame AP seems to be on continuous back order. So currently limited to using my Canon Rebel crop sensor due to the field curvature with the wider view with my Canon 6D full frame DSLR.
8 Things I Learned Switching from a Crop Sensor to a Full-Frame Sensor - Improve Photography. 8 Things I Learned Switching from a Crop Sensor to a Full-Frame Sensor. Discussions abound concerning the pros and cons of a crop sensor dSLR versus a.
The Canon 6D spots a 20.2 megapixel full-frame sensor with an eleven focal point system which, compared to today’s standard, is entry-level (but then again, the 6D was introduced as an entry-level full-frame camera, so that explains that lot). The 6D shoots FHD1080 at 24fps and HD 720p at 60ps, which no options for 30fps.
I took the second picture with the Canon EOS 6D a Full Frame sensor with a crop factor of 1.0 (no change from 35 mm). I had the 24-105 mm lens attached with zoomed in to 24 mm. Both cameras were set at 24 mm, but the crop factor on the Oly was a true 48mm focal length due to the crop factor.
On a Canon, there is no “crop mode” menu to worry about. (Either you have a Canon EF-S lens which will NOT mount on a full-frame body at all, or you have a third-party lens like the Tokina 11-16, and it will mount just fine.) So, let’s see how the Tokina 11-16 looks at 16mm on full-frame! Nikon D600, Nikon 14-24 @ 16mm.
It depends what you do more, the 6D would be better for landscape as you would be able to get a wider shot however if you always find your lenses coming up short its great for 70D due to the crops sensors magnification through your lens. Also the full frame kicks ass at low light. pompetron • 10 yr. ago. Thanks.
Personally, I would not use the 6D. I currently use the 7D and have been having a great success with this camera. I will be upgrading to the 5D mark III in the next two months. The 6D does not have the shutter speed needed for a high percentage of keepers. I have use my 7D with the 70-200 2.8. Pictu

Focal Length Measurements and Field of View. Full frame cameras have a fixed 35mm sensor. On the other hand, crop sensors can have varying dimensions, including 23.6mm x 15.6mm, 22.2mm x 14.8mm, 18.7mm x 14mm, 17.3mm x 13mm, and 8.8mm x 6.6mm. The difference in focal length also depends on the multiplier.

I have a Canon 600D, which is crop-sensor camera. If you're shooting with a Canon EF 50mm, it'll be (50x1.6) = 80mm on a normal full-frame body right? I'm also a street-photography-kinda guy, which I prefer going on 50mm lens than a 18-55 kit lens for shooting (while in a moving car).
Let’s say you are using a 50mm focal length on both a full-frame camera, such as the Canon 6D, and on an APS-C crop-sensor camera, such as the Canon 70D. For the full-frame camera, which has a crop factor of 1x, the perspective provided when looking through and shooting with the 50mm focal length is actually 50mm.
1. There is no adapter that lets you use a EF-S lens on an EF body without losing many of the advantages of gthe lens. The main problem is that the image the EF-S lens"projects" onto the sensor is too small and does not reach the edges of the large sensor in the full frame camera. BAK.
