The theatrical version is a bit of a mess. The Superman plot is VERY undercooked and hard to follow. The ultimate edition is a solid enough movie compared to the average CBM, but it still has a very particular tone and take on the characters that is VERY divisive and that’s why lots of people talk about it like it’s hot garbage. udw7Ve.
